Buzz and Myrna Buzz and Myrna have worked with CAMA SERVICES since 1989, in various relief efforts including floods, earthquakes, tsunamis and famines. They with their two sons lived at ground zero after the 2004 tsunami, learning much about emergency response and wholistically assisting those in physical and spiritual need. Their passion is to help communities grow in their ability to help themselves. Together they want to bring God’s wholeness to people and communities through the projects they are involved in. Most recently this has included HIV and AIDS awareness training through kids’ soccer teams. Since 2011, they have trained coaches and launched soccer teams with the objective of building character into the lives of Papuan youth. The Maxeys’ mission: “to “glorify God, using soccer ministries as an avenue to train and develop young men and women who, in turn, are able to transform their families, their communities and the nation of Indonesia.”

Joel and Sheila The Lord first placed Indonesia on Joel’s heart when he did tsunami relief work there in 2006, a call confirmed during Joel’s one year Indonesia internship in 2008-2009. Sheila is not a stranger to international work, having served in India for 2½ years with Sari Bari, a business to assist women leaving the sex trade. She served as a quality control coordinator and as a medical advocate for the women. Both Joel & Sheila have personally benefited from mentoring relationships, and hope to invest similarly in future leaders.

Eric and Krisy Eric and Krisy thrive on helping people find God’s calling for their lives and God’s gifting to develop the skills they need to live deeply and enculturate well. Pushing for excellence, they seek to drench their expectations with grace. Together with their 3 children (and 2 more children by marriage), Eric and Krisy are food fans who will gather their friends to pursue the best of any food across their city of 5 million. Throughout the years, Krisy has focused on team development, member care, spiritual formation, and translation work. Eric has been equally engaged with a range of tasks including income generation projects, English teaching, Peace Education and Muslim/Christian dialogue. They enjoy working these separate tasks, but they regularly combine their skills and passions for greater effectiveness together.

Mtt and Cnn Both Mtt and Cnn did international internships through the OnSite Program at CBC (now Ambrose) as young adults. Mtt and Cnn later worked as the Residence Directors at Ambrose. This experience allowed them to develop their passion for mentoring students, the best part of which by far was exploring experiential spiritual disciplines with passionate young people. In 2013 Mtt, Cnn, and their twin daughters, Qnn and Emm, moved to Indonesia. They have been involved in English Teaching, an income generation handicraft project and various training events to equip believers to reach out to the majority population. They have enjoyed working with international and national interns in the past and are excited to see more young adults explore the call of God on their lives in Indonesia.
